I don't have any experience with them but many here swear by them simply for their flexibility and wide range of articulations. It also can be very demanding on your system so I wouldn't recommend diving in unless you've really done your research about whether your system can handle it. Both Cinesamples and Spitfire have an (almost) complete orchestral line designed for instant and easy integration.ДЇor a drier sound with more sonic flexibility (but maybe more work) EW Hollywood Strings Gold has an unbeatable amount of articulations for only $399 (but I would wait until they have another sale in which case it will be even cheaper) and a fantastic, lush sound. This might be a good option if you plan on branching out into other orchestral families down the line. However both have a certain amount of baked-in room sound. IMO, both these libraries sound great and have a pretty complete set of bread and butter articulations. I would recommend CineStrings by Cinesamples or Mural by Spitfire Audio. Then branch into the various Adagio sections as you need them. It's an ensemble based library (though there are separate section patches aswell) and has a solid amount of various sustains, legatos and shorts for the price. It really all depends on the kind of writing you want to do and also how much sonic flexibility to want but in the 400$ price range you could look into Adagietto if you enjoy the sound of Agitato so far. You're never going to get your tremolos, spiccatos and stacattos from Agitato. As I'm sure you already know it aims to do very specific, niche kinds of legato only.

I don't have experience with Cinematic Strings but I can tell you that if you're looking for an all round string library then the Agitato series isn't really designed for that.
